The market is a long Art Deco hall beside the river at the south end of the Casco Viejo. Inside there are stalls for fish, meat, cheese and vegetables, and a food area with pintxo bars. It is a plain place to see what local people buy. It sits next to the lanes of the old town and links easily with them.
