The promenade, designed by Michel Corajoud, runs from one bank to the other between the Pont de Pierre and the Pont Jacques Chaban-Delmas. On the left bank it passes the Chartrons skatepark, the Prairie des Girondins facing the Quinconces, the Miroir d'eau facing the Place de la Bourse, the Jardin des lumières and the Maison écocitoyenne. The Parc aux Angéliques is on the right bank. There are edible gardens, flower beds and places to sit.
