The museum fills a bastion of the 16th-century city walls and has galleries for modern and contemporary art, including works by artists linked to Mallorca. A path on top of the walls leads to a terrace with a view across the harbour and the bay. It works well on a wet day, and the walls make the building worth seeing too.
