The park lies between the old town and the sea, below the cathedral. A large salt-water lake covers most of it, and its still water reflects the façade and the Almudaina palace. The tourism office describes it as the only beach-side spot with a full view of the cathedral. It is a simple stop for a walk, a rest and photographs.
