The church is known for one work, El Greco's large Burial of the Count of Orgaz, painted for this chapel in the 1580s. It has a Mudéjar brick tower and a plain interior around the painting. Most visitors spend their time in front of the canvas, which shows the saints coming down to the burial and the nobles of Toledo watching. A short wait outside is common when groups arrive.
