The hospital is one of the oldest preserved hospital buildings in Europe. Its main draw is the work of Hans Memling: four of the seven masterpieces on show were made for the hospital and have hung there since the late 15th century. In the hospital church stands the Saint Ursula Shrine. The Memling collection of Musea Brugge is the second largest in the world, and the old pharmacy and herb garden are part of the visit.
