The Storehouse is a former fermentation plant at St James's Gate, where the brewery has stood since the 18th century. The seven floors are built around a central atrium shaped like a pint glass and cover the ingredients, the brewing, the cooperage and the advertising. The route is self-guided with audio guides in several languages. It finishes at the Gravity Bar, a glass-walled room with a view over the whole city.
What to look for
- The atrium and the floor on how the beer is brewed
- The advertising floor with decades of posters and films
- A pint, or a soft drink, in the Gravity Bar
- The view over the rooftops towards the Dublin Mountains
