The Green has been open to the public since 1880 and keeps its Victorian layout of lawns, flowerbeds and a pond. A sculpture and memorial path runs through the park, and the Fusiliers' Arch marks the north-west entrance. Pigeons and ducks are everywhere, and office workers fill the benches at lunch. The park is a pleasant link between Grafton Street and the Georgian squares.
