Hyde Park is one of the Royal Parks and covers around 140 hectares, with Kensington Gardens next door. The Serpentine lake runs through it, and in warm months you can hire pedal boats or swim at the lido. Paths link Marble Arch, Hyde Park Corner and Kensington Palace, so it works as a route as well as a place to sit.
