The Parlamentarium is the information centre for visitors to the European Parliament, set beside its Brussels buildings. Its exhibition explains the history of the Union, how laws are made and what the members do. The exhibits are interactive. The official visit time is about 90 minutes. It is a good wet weather stop because it is indoors and free.

Tickets and booking
Free. Entry is free of charge.
Book a time slot online or by phone. Without a booking you are admitted only if there is space, and entry is only guaranteed within 30 minutes of your booked time.
Getting there
Maelbeek / Maalbeek station on metro lines 1 and 5 is within about 10 minutes on foot, and Luxembourg railway station is next to the Parliament.
Tip
Book a slot online before you go, because without a booking entry depends on free space.
