The hall stands at the Pest end of the Liberty Bridge and has a long iron and glass roof inside and a tiled roof outside. Stalls on the ground floor sell vegetables, fruit, sausage, paprika and pickles, and the upper floor has food counters and craft and souvenir stalls. Most people walk the length once, buy something to eat and leave within an hour or so.

Getting there
Take the M4 metro or tram 47 or 49 to Fővám tér, and the hall is at the Pest end of the Liberty Bridge.
Tip
Go on a weekday morning when every stall is open. Saturday trading ends at 16:00.
