The centre is walkable, and the metro, trams and buses cover the rest. A single ticket costs HUF 500 and a 24 hour travelcard HUF 2,750, so the pass pays off from the sixth ride. The yellow M1 line runs under Andrássy Avenue to City Park, and tram 2 follows the Pest embankment past the bridges and the Parliament.
