Bolhão is an iron and granite market from the early 20th century, reopened in 2022 after years of building work. Most stalls are run by long standing traders and sell fish, vegetables, flowers, bread and local cheese. Galleries run around an open central space, and the restaurants are on the upper floor. It works as a quick look at daily life or as a lunch stop.
