Tickets are the adult prices of the stops in the plan. Transport is one 24-hour pass per day, or four single rides where there is no pass. Food goes from two inexpensive meals and a coffee per day to one inexpensive meal, half of a mid-range dinner for two and two coffees.

The centre is compact but steep, so on foot is the default and the uphill return is the hard part. The metro covers Bolhão, the Casa da Música, Gaia and the airport, and the old tram runs along the river to Foz. The 24 hour Andante pass pays off from about four rides in a day, and each ride needs a validation.
