The Serralves Foundation groups several spaces on one site: the Museum of Contemporary Art with its Álvaro Siza wing, the pink Art Deco Casa de Serralves, the House of Cinema, and a park of formal gardens, woods and a Treetop Walk at canopy level. The general ticket covers all of them, and a park only ticket is also sold. The site is large enough to fill half a day, and the exhibitions change several times a year.

From October to March it is open Monday to Friday 10:00 to 18:00 and on Saturday, Sunday and holidays 10:00 to 19:00. From April to September it is open an hour later. Closed on 25 December and 1 January, and it closes at 16:00 on 24 and 31 December.

Tickets and booking

Adult ticket €24. The general ticket covers the museum, the villa, the park, the Treetop Walk and the House of Cinema. A park only ticket costs less. Children under 12 enter free, and a cheaper late afternoon ticket is sold Monday to Thursday after 17:00.

Getting there

Take the Metro to Casa da Música and change to bus 504 or the Metrobus, which has a Serralves stop.
