The hospital was built in the late 17th century as a residence for elderly priests and is now run by a cultural foundation. The standard visit is audioguided and takes about 40 minutes. It covers the courtyard, the Baroque church with its sacristy and exhibition spaces. The church is the main reason to go in.

Adult ticket €12. The general ticket is 12 euros. Children under 12 enter free. Tickets can be reserved online.
Getting there
Archivo de Indias, on the Metrocentro line, is about 8 minutes on foot, and the hospital is on Plaza de los Venerables in Santa Cruz.
