One of the oldest bullrings in Spain, open for visits outside bullfighting days. The visit takes in the ring, the stands and a museum.

The ring belongs to the Real Maestranza de Caballería, a noble society, and sits on the riverfront. The visit options include an audio guide and guided tours. You see the ring and the stands, and the museum rooms hold bullfighting art and objects. You do not need an interest in bullfighting to find the building worth a look.

Open 9:30 to 21:30 on regular days and 9:30 to 15:00 on bullfighting days. The ticket office closes 30 minutes before.

Tickets and booking

Adult ticket €12. The general ticket is 12 euros, with lower prices for seniors, students and children. A free visit is scheduled once a week, and the official site announces the day.

Getting there

Puerta Jerez metro station is about 10 minutes away on foot, and the ring is on Paseo de Cristóbal Colón next to the river.
