The park is arranged by habitat, with the African savanna, the African wetlands, the equatorial jungle and the island of Madagascar. Fences are kept out of sight where possible, so animals appear to share space with visitors. The official site describes a visit that can last from a few hours to a full day, with keeper talks and free activities running through the day. Children under 4 enter free.
