Malvarrosa has long been the beach Valencians go to for a day out. Walkways and ramps reach the shore, which makes it the easiest beach for visitors with reduced mobility. The writer Vicente Blasco Ibáñez had a house beside it, now a small museum. The neighbouring beaches of Cabanyal and Patacona share the same promenade, so you can walk between them.

What to look for

  • Wide sand and a long promenade
  • Ramps and walkways down to the water
  • The Blasco Ibáñez house museum
  • Snorkelling over the artificial reef

Opening hours
