The square is the usual meeting point for walking tours and the place where several routes through the old town begin. Every Thursday at noon the Water Tribunal, a court of farmers that settles irrigation disputes, meets at the cathedral's Door of the Apostles. During the Fallas festival the square is covered in flowers, as more than 100,000 people parade to the giant figure of the Virgin on 17 and 18 March.
