The city's museum of 20th century Italian art, in the Arengario on the Duomo square. A long ramp leads up through the Futurist rooms, and the windows frame the cathedral.

The museum opened in 2010 in the Arengario, the building beside the cathedral. The route is by theme and decade: Futurism first, then the interwar years, then the Spatialism of the 1950s and the experiments that followed. A room is dedicated to Lucio Fontana, and the Fourth Estate by Pellizza da Volpedo hangs here.

Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 19:30, and on Thursdays until 22:30. Closed on Mondays. Last entry is one hour before closing. Free on the first Sunday of the month.

Tickets and booking

Adult ticket €10. The ticket covers the permanent collection and temporary exhibitions. Visitors up to 17 enter free.

Getting there

Take M1 or M3 to Duomo, and the museum is in the Arengario at the corner of the square.
