The square has held a produce market for generations, and in the morning the stalls sell vegetables, fruit, spices and dried pasta. In the middle stands the statue of Giordano Bruno, who was burned here in 1600. By evening the stalls are gone and the bars take over.

There is no metro station: bus stops on Corso Vittorio Emanuele II are about a three minute walk away.
Tip
Go before 10:00 for the full market, then walk on to Piazza Navona.
