The Heineken Experience is in the company's oldest brewery in De Pijp, built in 1867, which stopped brewing in 1988. The self-guided tour runs through the old building with exhibits on the ingredients, the brewing process and the history of the brand. You move at your own pace once you enter, and the tour ends in a tasting area. Children are not allowed, and the minimum age is 18.

Tickets and booking

Adult ticket €24.95. The standard tour includes one beer. A ticket with rooftop access and a guided VIP tour cost more.

Tickets are timed. Slots fill quickly at weekends and from April to October, so book online in advance. Walk-up tickets are limited.

Getting there

Metro 52 to De Pijp and then about a ten minute walk, or take a tram along the Stadhouderskade next to the building.
