The baths date from the 11th century and were once part of a mosque complex that no longer exists. You pass through the changing hall and then the cold, warm and hot rooms, all under vaults pierced with star-shaped skylights. It is a short visit, but it shows how the Moorish baths worked better than any sign could.

What to look for

  • Star-shaped skylights in the vaults
  • Horseshoe arches and reused columns
  • Cold, warm and hot bathing rooms
