The gallery fills the former Bankside Power Station and opened in 2000. The Turbine Hall, the vast old generating hall, shows a large new installation each year. The Blavatnik Building extension has a free viewing level on its top floor with a view over the City. The collection displays change, so expect different rooms from one visit to the next.
