A large interactive science museum with a tropical BioDomo, a planetarium and outdoor gardens. It suits children, and it works for a wet or very hot afternoon.

The museum fills several buildings and an outdoor park in the south of the city. Rooms cover physics, the human body, the natural world and temporary exhibitions. The BioDomo is a greenhouse with Indo-Pacific, Madagascar and Amazon zones. The planetarium runs sessions through the day and an observatory sits in the grounds. Allow three to four hours with children.

Tickets and booking

Adult ticket €10. The standard ticket is for the museum. The BioDomo and the planetarium are priced separately on the official page.

Getting there

Buses 5 and 21 serve the entrance. From the centre it is a bus ride or a walk of about 30 minutes.
