The lane links Via dei Tribunali with Via San Biagio dei Librai, past the church and cloister of San Gregorio Armeno. Workshops on both sides sell handmade nativity figures, from traditional shepherds to figures of public personalities made each year. In the weeks before Christmas the lane is so crowded that the city can set it up as a one way flow for pedestrians.
