Stops that cost nothing

Local transport

The historic centre is compact and best done on foot, though the streets are cobbled and uneven. Metro Lines 1 and 2 cover the longer hops, and funiculars carry you up to the Vomero hill. Single, time and day tickets on the regional system were adjusted on 1 October 2026, so check the fare on the machine. A day pass only pays off if you plan several rides in one day.
