A modern glass and stone building on the river embankment, usually seen from outside. It takes about twenty minutes, and it is free to look at.

The building opened on Rašínovo embankment in 1996, designed by Vlado Milunić and Frank Gehry. The stone tower stands for Fred Astaire, and the glass tower with its curved waist stands for Ginger Rogers. It stands among older apartment blocks, and a gallery and a restaurant terrace with a view of Prague can be visited inside.

  • The contrast with the older street around it

The facade can be seen at any time. The gallery and the terrace restaurant inside have their own hours.

Getting there

Metro B to Karlovo náměstí and walk 10 minutes towards the river, or tram to Jiráskovo náměstí next to the building.
