The synagogues, the Old Jewish Cemetery and the exhibitions of the Jewish Museum, all in a few streets next to the Old Town. One ticket covers every site the museum runs.

The museum is not one building but five synagogues and the Old Jewish Cemetery. The Pinkas Synagogue carries the names of the Czech Jewish victims of the Shoah on its walls, and its upper floor shows children's drawings from the Terezín ghetto. The Spanish Synagogue has a richly decorated interior, and the Maisel and Klausen synagogues hold exhibitions on Jewish life in Bohemia. The museum says a tour of the whole Jewish Town takes two to three hours.

Open Sunday to Friday and closed on Saturdays and Jewish holidays. From 1 September to 17 October the sites open from 9:00 to 18:00. From 18 October they close at 16:30, and on 24 December at 14:00. The Old-New Synagogue is run by the Jewish Community and usually closes an hour before the start of Shabbat.

Tickets and booking
Adult ticket CZK 600. One ticket gives access to all the venues the museum currently has open. The Old-New Synagogue is administered separately, so check its entry on the museum page.
Tickets are sold online and at the museum ticket offices in the Spanish, Klausen, Pinkas and Maisel synagogues and at the Visitor Centre. Ticket sales stop 30 minutes before closing. A ticket is valid for three opening days, and each site can be entered once.
Getting there
Metro A to Staroměstská, then a five minute walk down Pařížská street to Maiselova street.
Tip
Start at opening with the Pinkas Synagogue and the Old Jewish Cemetery, which fill up first, and finish with the synagogues that hold exhibitions.
