Letná Park

A large park on a plateau above the north bank with long avenues, a cast iron pavilion and a view over the river and the bridges. It is free.

The park covers lawns, mature trees and a long avenue of plane trees on the hill across the river from the Old Town. The cast iron Hanavský Pavilion was moved here in 1892 from the Jubilee Exhibition grounds. The viewpoint above the river shows the bridges, the Old Town roofs and Prague Castle. Locals use it for running, picnics and evenings outside.

Getting there

Take a tram to Letenské náměstí and walk a few minutes into the park, or cross the Čech Bridge and climb the stairs from the river.
